Muuto’s Visu chair is all about precision and detail. Through a meticulous design process, lasting almost two years, Muuto and Mika Tolvanen went through every curve, edge and detail over and over again. That is also why Mika Tolvanen chose the name Visu, - a reference to the Finnish word for precision. With a wide colour range, several upholstery options and a choice of two different bases, there is a Visu for any interior; at home, in a restaurant or at the office.
Mika Tolvanen on the design: "Visu lounge is a natural continuation of the first Visu chair. The idea was to create a lounge chair, which is extremely comfortable – even without upholstery – and I believe that we have succeeded in this quest. The proportions of the chair are exactly right, and it is neither too big nor too low. The chair is able to combine an elegant curve with a compact and simple form.”
The Visu Lounge chair is also available in a non-upholstered version.
