The Sutoa Storage Drawers are designed by Japanese architect Keiji Ashizawa for Frama. Named after the Japanese word for 'contain', the Sutoa blends Japanese and Nordic minimalism culture in a single product. The Sutoa drawer is an aesthetically pleasing storage chest and elegant storage solution combining sculptural design with functionality.
The minimal structure is comprised of seven stacked drawers and a slim steel frame. Each drawer has grooves on the sides which slot into the steel frame without using any extraneous mechanism. The drawers also collapse down to a single unit when you don't need it. The thin gaps between each drawer become a handle and make it easy to find what you store. Thanks to the wheels located at the back, the Sutoa is easily movable.
The Sutoa has a sculptural aesthetic whilst also being designed for everyday use. It is a durable and timeless storage unit that can host all sorts of everyday objects. Use the Sutoa to store your clothes, tools or home office products.
