At Donna Wilson they knit all of their creatures in the UK using the softest lambswool. Handmade and embroidered, each creature has a name and their own personality. Making each creature by hand means that they all imperfect. You could never make two exactly the same. The amazing thing about these creatures is that they appeal to adults just as much – in fact even more so in some ways – as children. They’re not too cute, but they're not too ugly or scary either. They’re somewhere in between, and that’s what has made them so recognisable.

Donna Wilson is a textile designer with a passion for all things knitted.
Her work takes inspiration from her childhood growing up in the Scottish countryside and still today her style remains faithful to her roots. In 2003 Donna set up her studio in London, shortly after graduating from the Royal College of Art. The initial success came with her first collection of quirky knitted creatures and it wasn't long until her collection grew to include home products, ceramics, textiles and fashion accessories.
Donna Wilson’s unique and charming style can be seen throughout the entire collection, with her signature designs which are created to make people smile!
