The Harbour Chair Conceived during the design process for the brand's new showroom (Menu Space) located in Copenhagen’s thriving Nordhavn (North Harbour) area. The showroom is a hybrid space that mixes office, showroom, café, co-working and event space in one, The Harbour Chair's Designers - Norm Architects were tasked with creating a chair suitable for this diverse range of uses.
Norm Architects, founded in 2008 by Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen and Kasper Rønn, has worked within residential architecture, commercial interiors, industrial design, photography, graphics and art direction since its inception. The name ‘Norm’ signifies the importance of drawing inspiration from norms and traditions within the fields of architecture and design, which have been refined throughout the centuries.
