The CPH30 Dining Table is part of the Copenhague furniture series designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. The series has a homely, welcoming expression and functional qualities such as stackability, durability and ease of cleaning - making this table a perfect choice for a modern, busy home. The Bouroullec brothers approached the design of Copenhague by merging design history with modern technology in an idiom with a strong and independent appearance to create a broad and versatile series that suits both public and private environments.
The Copenhague dining table has finish options of both laminate and linoleum, both provide excellent marking resistance, and linoleum provides an extremely matt surface with a soft touch that is anti-fingerprint and easily cleaned. The table comes flat-packed with four solid wood legs that are easy to attach, the bracing is already in place on the underside of the table.
Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec are brothers and have worked together as joint partners in their own Paris-based design studio since 1999. Their work ranges from small utilitarian objects to architectural projects. The primary focus of their work is the design and organisation of interior space. Copenhague furniture series was purpose-built for the new buildings at the University of Copenhagen, after receiving an extremely positive reception the tables were subsequently offered by HAY to the domestic market.
