Collection: Jasper Morrison

Jasper Morrison is one of Britain’s most successful and well renowned industrial designers. He is best known for a design approach that makes hard-working products appear aesthetically quiet. Together with his colleague Naoto Fukasawa, he coined the term 'super normal’ - it means a good example of understated, useful and responsible design. To Morrison it answers the question of what ‘good design’ really should be.

Born in London in 1959, Jasper received his bachelor of design degree from Kingston School of Art in 1982, and his master's degree in design from the Royal College of Art in 1985. In 1984 he received a Berlin scholarship to study in Germany at the Hochschule der Künste. Morrison opened his studio - Office for Design - in London in 1986, just one year after graduating from the RCA.
