The Belleville Chair Plastic was designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for Vitra. The Belleville is the name of the vibrant Paris neighbourhood where the designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have their studio.

The Belleville Chair is a technically sophisticated wooden chair consisting of two components - a polyamide frame and a moulded plywood seat shell. Tracing the calligraphic lines of the legs and back, the slender black frame supports a thin shell that tapers from the wide seat surface into a narrow backrest. The distinctive contrast between the wooden seat and black polyamide frame makes the chair a unique piece in any environment.

Constructed from a polyamide frame and wooden seat shell, the Belleville Chair Wood is durable and suitable for indoor use. The chair can be stacked up to 5 chairs for extra practicality. The Belleville Chair Plastic comes in three different seat shell options - natural oak, dark oak or black ash and is also available as a plastic chair for outdoor use.
