Muuto’s stackable Visu chair is all about precision and detail. Through a meticulous design process, lasting almost two years, Muuto and Mika Tolvanen went through every curve, edge and detail over and over again. That is also why Mika Tolvanen chose the name Visu, - a reference to the Finnish word for precision. With a wide colour range, several upholstery options and a choice of two different bases, there is a Visu for any interior; at home, in a restaurant or at the office.
Mika Tolvanen on the design: “The task was to create a personal interpretation of the ever-relevant plywood chair. I wanted my chair to have an unobtrusive and timeless nature that is familiar but never boring and without sacrificing function or ergonomics. Designing a family of chairs, visually related but for different functions, was an iterative and thorough process lasting nearly two years. In the end, I think every detail is exactly as it is supposed to be.”
There is a minimum order of 2 chairs in the same finish.
